Born on 14th May in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, Jyoti received her primary and intermediate education in her hometown. She later pursued her graduation from Lucknow University. Currently, she balances her artistic pursuits with her role as a private employee in the corporate sector.

Jyoti’s foray into writing began when she was in the 10th grade. Starting with diary entries and letter poems during her school years, she gradually honed her craft. Her first foray onto the stage was in 2020, marking the beginning of her journey as a performance poet.
